The Bellino winder fits in your hand yet is fully programmable. The perfect size for traveling or for vault storage. This is a beautiful winder small and compact however it is not a good choice for some large Breitling models and other such very large heavy watches.
This winder is very quiet, whisper quiet, however you can hear it when it is running. It makes a light whirring noise. Barely audible from a few feet away. The noise is not very loud, but the pitch might be an issue if you are super sensitive to such things. To help you understand the sound, a quiet 2006 model laptop computer is about the same loudness...Most people do not notice it...No one has ever returned the Bellino to us for a sound issue, however if it will be in your bed room and if you are extremely sensitive this might be an issue for you and if it turns out to be an issue we back up the product with a 30 day trial. Buy it and try it, no risk!
If you truly need nearly noise free winding.
The Sparta model might be a better choice or the Eilux Cubic Winder might be a better choice, for extremely sound sensitive people. For most people a Bellino will not be a problem sound wise at all. Compared to 95% of the winders on the market the Bellino is one of the quietest.

No need to worry. Why? All self-winding watches have a built-in safety mechanism to prevent damage caused by over-winding. Setting this winder is a bit more complicated than some because of its many options. 12 different settings.
Some winders claim programmability with 2 settings, this winder truly is programmable with 12 settings!
You set the winder using "toggle switches" or dip switch settings on the bottom of the unit. Just match your winding needs with the directions showing the toggle setting needed. Personally I think this winder is perfect for the person who owns their mechanical automatic watch because of a fascination with mechanical things. If you do not like diagrams and figuring things out I would recommend the Orbita Sparta Compact Winder or the Orbita Sparta Deluxe Watch Winder since the Sparta needs no re-setting.
Also if you plan to rotate watches daily but do not like changing settings this winder may not be a good choice for you, unless the 2 watches have identical winding needs, resetting could become cumbersome. However many watch enthusiasts buy the Bellino for this very reason! They love stopping to think about the mechanics involved.
