What is the most important issue when choosing a Jewelry Case or Jewelry Box? Give some thought to what will be stored and who will be storing it. This will go along way in getting to your answer.

I only have a bunch of smaller pieces....How large of a box do I need?

The more small pieces you have the larger box you will need! Why? Because you need many compartments to fit the different small pieces into their own compartments. The dividers in a Jewelry Box are what take up the most space. If you do not want this, then use your sock drawer!

Do you have a good Jewelry Box for a gift that says I love you?

What type of jewelry will you put in it?

The type of Jewelry Stored will dictate the choice more than anything else.

I have a number of necklaces what should I get?

If you have plenty of necklaces, get a Necklace Jewelry Box with space for hanging necklaces.

I have bracelets and pins, my husband calls them "Chunky/Clunky"...

Look for a larger box with larger more open compartments.

Should I buy a box to "Match my Furniture"?

No, I do not believe this is not a good strategy or plan! Most people attempt to match, they should be accenting, not matching! Matching is highly unlikely and the result is poor at best most of the time.

Why is attempting to "Match Furniture and colors" not a good idea?

Matching is virtually impossible. The closer the match the worse the piece will look. The small differences in grain and color will actually stand out more as being mismatched than if the color or wood complements or accents the furniture.
