Link To Us

If you have a quality site please click "Link To US" and add a link to us or contact us via email to discuss a linking partnership.

Vocabulary tutorial: URL: the web-page address you send the link to, usually the home page, and it should be invisible in the link. Anchor Text: the blue underlined stuff, it should be your most important key word(s),not just your url.

Description: This is optional, but the "good links pages" include a description since search engines give more value to related pages even a short description adds relatedness value!

Exchange links from quality sites only! Not huge directory pages! What is a quality site? Well, if it is a shopping site, would you buy from them? If it is informational would you use it? Did you find it well written? If yes, then add the link, if not, your visitors would likely feel the same way. Build a useful site for your users, and make a useful links page for users not for your site. Doing this will actually pay off big for you, as will adding a link to watchcases.com! "Ask not what a visitor can do for you but ask what you can do for a visitor"...and give them great outward links to visit. Don't worry, if they love your site, just let them go, they will come back! The internet is like that!

Link Hint 1: Never exchange a link with a site simply listing your url only as the linking text. That is almost useless for boosting your meaningful ranking or traffic! (Spammers use this ploy with automated software, you want real people to evaluate your link, this takes time and is the real key to quality links!)

Link Hint 2: Never exchange a link with a site just because they gave you a link. Make absolutely certain they are a quality site with only quality outbound links! It is ideal if they are related to your sites topic however, quality is the real key!

Link Hint 3: Have fun, put some whimsy into a few links. Make people laugh. The internet is the world in micro. Not every thing you do in life should be about making money!

Link Hint 4: What does Page Rank mean and how will it affect my linking?

Link Hint 5: We are highly ranked in our Google and DMOZ categories and a single link from us is worth a link from 100's of lower ranked pages. Why do I say this? Page Rank is very much like the Richter Scale:"Because of the logarithmic basis of the scale, each whole number increase in magnitude represents a tenfold increase in measured amplitude". So a rank of 6 is 10 times more powerul than a rank of 5. So what this means is if you have a page with a page rank of 1 and you assign it a value of one point. Then a PR2 page is ten times that point value or 10 points. PR3 is ten times a PR2 so is worth 100 points, and so on... PR4 = 1,000 points PR5 = 10,000 points PR6 = 100,000 points * PR7 = 1,000,000 points.

A link from a page is a vote for that page with that Anchor Link, but the votes must be divided by the number of outbound links! This is why I say avoid directory pages.

* Our PR is PR6.

Link Hint 6: Always consider how many outbound links a page has before anything else. Then factor in Page Rank and Relatedness, but in the end the key is to link to quality sites and ask for links from quality sites.
