Information on Seiko Kinetic Watches and Watch Winders:

The Seiko Kinetic is not an automatic watch. However it is similar to an Automatic in that it stays wound by the body movement of the wearer. The difference is the Seiko Kinetic converts the movement into electrical energy and uses it to charge the battery. A true Automatic Watch stores the energy in a spring. It takes much more energy to convert power into electrical power and this is why Seiko Kinetic watches are so difficult to wind.

The winder that is the most likely to wind your Seiko Kinetic is the Rotolution Watch Winder. Other watch winders, even programmable winders, are limited to no more than 1300 turns per day. The Rotolution, on the other hand, is programmable for all the way up to 6,000 turns per day. If anything will wind your Seiko Kinetic, it's this.

If you do purchase a watchwinder for a Seiko Kinetic, please email us with your results, good or bad. It helps us to give better advice to our customers.
