Both single winder and double winder versions have balanced lids that stay open while you are accessing your watch. The watches are mounted on a resilient foam cushion, which fits snugly into the drive cup, making it impossible for them to fall as the cup swings back and forth during the winding cycle. Cushions are available in 3 sizes: standard, small and large. If you have a small wrist, add a note when you place your order and we will include a small cushion at no extra charge. We can also include a larger cushion, just let us know.

Most good winders rotate a watch in a single circular motion for a set number of turns then stop and rest, repeating the same on/off cycle over and over. Orbita's unique automatic watch winder operates on a totally different principle. The Sparta Easy Winder actually swings the watch gently back and forth. Every 10 minutes, the internal microprocessor activates the drive motor. (Both motors are independent.) This starts the swinging motion, and gravity does the rest, causing the watch to swing back and forth for several oscillations just as it would if it were being worn on the wrist.
