The Genuine Leather Eilux Triple Watch Winder is the perfect winding box for someone with 3 different watches to wind. This Winder can wind one watch counter-clockwise, another clock-wise and a third bi-directionally all at the same time! It is extremely easy to program. Each head has its own clearly labeled switch showing rotations with arrows pointing clockwise or counter clockwise or a double headed arrow for bi-directional winding. (Most automatic watches wind Bi-Directionally.)
Each winding head is individually programmable and can be changed at the flick of a switch. Plus the lid has extra space for storing additional items. Up to 3 watches or paperwork. (A storage stand is available as an accessory (retail: $245) which stores 5 watches under the case.) Eilux makes super quiet winders. Notes on Winding and Winders:
The Eilux Winder will wind 98% of all automatic watches on the market. Only a few watches need more TPD (turns per day) than the Eilux factory pre-set 900 TPD. This setting will not damage a watch needing fewer TPD. But if you need a winder with a higher TPD setting or you want to limit the TPD to say 650 you will need to spend about double. Some customers feel more comfortable with getting the exact winding requirements and these customers need to purchase an Orbita Watch Winder. Two choices are the Siena 3 Winder or Monaco 3 Winder.
A note on Winding Directions and Setting your Winder:
Rolex sets the standard for Automatic Watches and most watch companies have copied their automatic movement. If you are unsure of your watches winding direction you can call us or figure it our yourself by trial and error testing. (Do not fret, this will not damage your watch! Expensive winder companies have used scare tactics to sell their products, and overstate the potential damage of "overwinding".
Automatic Watches have built in slip mechanisms to prevent overwinding. The only thing that will happen if placed on the wrong setting is the watch will stop. It will not be kept wound, until you find the correct setting. Start with the bi-directional setting and try it for 3-5 days or until the watch stops if sooner.
