Why?
Because this is an expensive watch that is historically difficult to wind. Most winders fail to keep a Breitling wound.
Why? The combination of their weight, multiple complications, one way winding requirements and high turns per day combined with long power reserve causes these heavy watches to challenge the low end winders. The real culprit for keeping these wound is their high turn per day requirements in one direction. Most winders can not handle the high turn in one direction winding of such heavy expensive watches.
If you own a Breitling, (or Patek) lets face it, you don't need to "save money". Treat your watch with the dignity and respect it deserves.
