A soft, grey sučde-like lining protects the watches on the inside. The same lining covers the bottom of the watch case thus protecting your furniture. Silver colored lock and hinges add to the durability and style of the watch case. An inexpensive, well-designed, and durable watch display case that will preserve your collection with simplicity, ease, and a touch of beauty. The watch channels measure 43 mm (almost 1.75 inches), however the pillow design is more forgiving allowing for much larger watches to be placed inside this case. Pictured is a 50 mm watch and a couple of 45 mm watches in addition to a small 35mm skagen watch.
(This watch case is very flexible! 12 Watches in excess of 50 mm will not fit however. A large Jumbo Watch will overlap on to the the adjacent pillow. Therefore if you have one Jumbo in your collection you will be able to store 11 watches in this case. Up to 4 Jumbo Watches will fit if staggered in the case, and you can place smaller watches as they fit in between and on the edge of the case. Most Rolex type watches are about 1.75 inches in diameter, and this Watch case is excellent for this size or smaller sized watch. Large wristed men might have issues with this case. Why? The interior height might be an issue. The band of a large wristed man will take up more room and raise the watch up high inside the case. The lid therefore might touch the watch when closed. Normal average size men and women will not need to worry about this issue. Abnormally thick watches also could be an issue for the same reason. The case has good clearance, but if you are a large man in excess of 6 feet tall with large wrists and large faced watches, consider choosing on of our Jumbo Cases.
If you have Large Over-sized Watches (45-50 mm or better) a better choice is the watch display case for Large Watches. However this case will hold some Over-sized Jumbo Watches. If you look at the picture. Over-size Watches will fit in a staggered pattern as shown above. However, they will not fit on the corners, only staggered every other pillow in the center, so 4 Jumbo Watches will fit in this case. 12 watches of up to 50 mm will fit without touching.
Quite Large watches will fit in this case, as long as all of the watches in your collection are not over-sized. The case has good clearance height (from the pillow to the glass top). Clearance is an issue for thick watches and also for gentlemen with very large wrists.
(Extra Large or Over-sized Watches: are watches in excess of 45-50 mm or watches with extra long strap lengths, if you are a very large man, your strap will take up more room.)
